Putting up a business from the ground up takes a lot of work, especially if you are a one man team. Micro and small business owners, more often than not, are expert of only one aspect of the business, say the production itself, or the marketing side of it, or the logistics, or others. We all know that it takes more than that for a business to have a shot for success. This course is for individuals who are planning to put up their service- oriented businesses, but do not know where and how to start.

In every module, we will answer the following crucial questions.

At the end of this course,

1. You will be knowledgeable with guiding principles on how to design the service that you will be providing to your customers,
2. You will be able to do a customer journey map and an inventory of everything that you need to prepare in order to jumpstart your business, and
3. You will feel comfortable to start establishing it right away.

About the Author

I am Thessa Cunanan- Dimasuhid, a learning experience designer of Habi Education Lab, and owner of Crafts by Daisy. When I started CBD five years ago, I was full of passion, vigor, and talent in teaching calligraphy, but lacking knowledge on running it. Working as a Habi LXD, I learned about service design and immediately appreciated how it positively impacts our team, our learners and our communities. Now, I am revamping CBD through this same framework. Hopefully, through this course, business owners like me will be able to prepare their well-designed services for their customers, and have higher chances of success!
