Now that we know the learners’ environment and/or context from Module 2, in Module 3 we will learn about Universal Design for Learning. According to the Center for Applied Special Technology:
“Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn.”

In this module, we’ll share Universal Design for Learning, to help us think about multiple means to present our learning environments.
We will:
- Know about Universal Design for Learning
- Read related materials about UDL, and
- Design a learning experience plan using UDL
