Welcome to Accessible Digital Learning! This course was designed as part of a series of courses in collaboration with Facebook Digital Tayo. These courses are for teachers and educators to help them become Digital Tayo Teachers that CARE, by helping them in making Creative, Accessible, Responsible, and Enriching learning experiences .
How might we design better learning experiences?
How might we support teachers and learners in rapidly changing and uncertain contexts?
How might we raise the next generation of responsible and effective digital citizens?
These are just some of the questions we hope to answer with you as you go through these courses. Other courses in the series include Creative Digital Learning, Responsible Digital Learning, and Enriching Digital Learning.
For this course on Accessible Digital Learning, we’ll start by reflecting on our understanding of digital technology and digital learning. We’ll then explore and gain a deeper understanding of the learner’s environment. We’ll then discuss Universal Design for Learning and how we can apply it in our practice of making well-designed and accessible learning experiences.
